Degree and Enrollment Verification

A verification is a signed, official document on letterhead that confirms enrollment dates, full-time/part-time enrollment status, information about major and any degrees earned at that time. Other information is considered additional or specialized.

Verifications are often used for scholarship applications, loan deferments, insurance applications, jury duty or other processes where student enrollment needs to be verified.

Current students, former students, alumni, and employers seeking verification of enrollment or degrees from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln can access these services through the National Student Clearinghouse or the Office of the University Registrar. Current students can also request electronic or paper verification via MyRED.

Certified copies of transcripts, diplomas, and verifications are available upon request, and Apostille services can be arranged for international use. Please ensure there are no outstanding holds on your student account before requesting verifications.
