Searching by Attributes in Stellic Scheduler

There are many attributes available to search by in Stellic. Please look below to see additional information on attributes how to add courses to your schedule by utilizing the filters in Stellic.

Locate the Attributes Filter

First, you will need to navigate to Stellic Scheduler (https://registrar.unl.edu/class-registration-tutorials/accessing-stellic-scheduler). Then, on the left-hand panel by My Courses, click the + symbol and choose Search Courses.

This will then open the Search Courses right-hand panel. At the top of the Search Courses right-hand panel, under the Keyword search box, locate the Attributes filter.

Click on the box and it will provide a search box you can type in.

Finding ACE Courses

Type "ACE," which will pull up all the ACE types. If you want a specific number type "ACE #."

Select whichever ACE attribute you need. You will see that the filter is added to your active filters section. You can remove this filter by clicking the X button to the right of the filter description.

Then, scroll down the right-hand panel to find a list of courses that match your filters. You may continue to add the courses (https://registrar.unl.edu/student-resources/registration/class-registration-tutorials/adding-courses/) to your plan and enroll (https://registrar.unl.edu/student-resources/registration/class-registration-tutorials/enroll-classes/).

 

Finding Experiential Learning Courses

Type "EXP," which will pull up all the Experiential Learning options.

Select whichever Experiential Learning attribute you need. You will see that the filter is added to your active filters section. You can remove this filter by clicking the X button to the right of the filter description.

Then, scroll down the right-hand panel to find a list of courses that match your filters. You may continue to add the courses (https://registrar.unl.edu/student-resources/registration/class-registration-tutorials/adding-courses/) to your plan and enroll (https://registrar.unl.edu/student-resources/registration/class-registration-tutorials/enroll-classes/).

 

Finding Open Nebraska Courses

Type "Open," which will pull up all the Experiential Learning options.

Select your desired Open Nebraska option. You will see that the filter is added to your active filters section. You can remove this filter by clicking the X button to the right of the filter description.

Then, scroll down the right-hand panel to find a list of courses that match your filters. You may continue to add the courses (https://registrar.unl.edu/student-resources/registration/class-registration-tutorials/adding-courses/) to your plan and enroll (https://registrar.unl.edu/student-resources/registration/class-registration-tutorials/enroll-classes/).

 

Finding Nebraska Now Courses

Type "Nebraska Now," which will match the Nebraska Now attribute, and select it.

Then, scroll down the right-hand panel to find a list of courses that match your filters. Nebraska Now: 

  • 800 section numbers 
    • Nebraska Now sections are special course sections that allow high school students from Nebraska to earn University of Nebraska–Lincoln credit while taking the course through their high school. These sections are reserved for Nebraska Now participants and have different registration procedures, deadlines, or eligibility requirements than regular UNL sections. 

Open Nebraska: 

  • Reduced Cost Material 
    • Course materials for this course cost students more than $40, but less than the original retail price. 
  • No Cost Materials 
    • Course materials are included at no additional cost to the student. No book purchase is required 
  • Low Cost Materials  
    • Course materials for this course cost students less than $40 
  • Low Cost E-book 
    • A reduced-cost e-book purchased through the campus bookstore costs students less than $40.
